YMCA Camp Potawotami is looking for individuals interested in becoming an Outdoor Education Instructor between April 8 — June 1. YMCA Camp Potawotami serves 4th-6th grade students from Indiana that come to camp for a day or overnight visit. EQUESTRIAN DIRECTOR – CALIFORNIA
Tumbleweed Day Camp is searching for an experienced Equestrian Director for Summer 2013. We’re an independent, traditional day camp in West Los Angeles, serving over 1200 campers each summer at our beautiful and secluded 100-acre facility. The Equestrian Director oversees a team of wranglers to implement a riding program for campers ages 5 to 14 along with our after-camp enrichment equestrian program. The director is responsible for supervising their equestrian staff, designing and executing the riding program, and caring for the horses and equestrian equipment. ASSISTANT DIRECTOR – VIRGINIA
Camp Dogwood (www.anbryce.org) seeks an Assistant Director for the 2013 summer. The Assistant Director will assist in leading all aspects of the camp program including direct oversight of our Rites of Passage and STEP programs, the daily program schedule and both camper and staff evaluations. The Assistant Director should also be comfortable playing an integral role in the ACA re-accreditation process, helping to lead and design staff training, assisting in the oversight of our emergency management plans and assuming leadership in all aspects of camp when called upon. This is currently a part-time position, with the possibility of growth into a full time position after the summer for the right candidate. This position requires residency in Madison Virginia from early June-late August and preferably part time in our Northern Virginia office from March-May and then September. The Chef will work closely with our on-site farm manager to determine what will be planted, harvesting times, and quantities. The Head Chef must be able to spot problems and resolve them quickly and efficiently, maintain a level head, and delegate many kitchen tasks simultaneously. Duration: This is a full time, salaried position to begin immediately. Glisson Camp and Retreat Center, a United Methodist camp in Dahlonega, GA, is seeking to hire a summer Healthcare Manager to provide medical care for campers and staff. Applicants must be a licensed RN, LPN (with lots of experience with children) or Physician in the state of Georgia, with pediatrics experience preferred. *SITE MANAGER – MISSOURI
Position available for someone with experience in property management. Camp Winding River is a 400 acre property located in Dearborn, MO specializing in equestrian activities and includes a state of the art equestrian center. The Site Manager ensures that buildings and property are maintained in a consistently safe, attractive and efficient manner; performs minor repairs and remodeling and oversees contracted services; performs year round grounds maintenance including snow removal, tree trimming, clearing trails and road maintenance. High School or equivalent and 3-5 yrs. experience. Knowledge of basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, grounds maintenance and general equipment and vehicle repair and maintenance. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and a good driving record. Housing is provided at no cost and living on-site is a requirement of the position.
