CAMP CREW TRAINER – ALABAMA
Space Camp and Aviation Challenge inspire young men and women to dream big and to work hard to make those dreams a reality. As a Crew Trainer you are responsible for instructing children of all ages during space shuttle simulators, military flight simulators, exciting classroom activities, and leadership development activities. No previous knowledge necessary, we will teach you everything you need to know. The naturalist for Porter County Parks and Recreation is an ever-evolving position. The naturalist will lead and assist in planning, coordinating and conducting safe and effective camp activities and programs for year-round camp programs. The naturalist will also assist in developing, implementing and documenting new and existing indoor and outdoor programs, and assure they meet current Indiana State Academic Standards. The naturalist will develop and deliver curriculum for all camps. The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating and conducting safe and effective camp activities, and developing, implementing, and documenting programs. A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Resources, Natural Sciences, Recreation, Education or related field of study, or a minimum of 3 years experience in the above related fields of study is required. This position is responsible for the preparation of our diverse camp offerings and developing programs during the off season. YMCA Camp Abnaki, a boy’s residential camp consisting of 91 acres and 52 buildings on the shores of beautiful Lake Champlain in North Hero, Vermont, is seeking a year-round property manager.
