FEMALE PROGRAM FACILITATOR – KENTUCKY
Responsibilities: Facilitating on our high and low challenge courses, leading environmentally themed programs, night hikes, a huge assortment of hands-on, outdoor-based programs in many different disciplines such as biking, creative arts, aquatic programs and experiential education, as well as evening and camp-wide programs. Facilitators are not responsible for overnight supervision of the participants. Facilitators are required to live on-site while working with groups. Includes some weekend work. B.A., B.S. preferred. OUTDOOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (OYDP) FIELD INSTRUCTOR – SOUTH CAROLINA
The Alternative School is a program, which works with expelled or suspended students from the county school district. The program focuses on behavior modification and incorporates problem solving skills, interpersonal and intrapersonal awareness, outdoor skills, high adventure, science, outdoor education, and experiential activities to teach and improve behavior. The school runs on a regular schedule with the students arriving by bus in the mornings and picked up in the afternoon.
