Environmental Education School. The qualified candidate will be

OUTDOOR EDUCATION FIELD INSTRUCTOR – SOUTH CAROLINA
The program combines a unique opportunity to work in varied curriculum and
educate children in natural resources, forensic sciences, and marine
biology. We have three sites that we will hire instructors for, they
include: Pickens Educational Center in Pickens, SC where we teach our CSI
program (forensic science), R.M. Cooper 4-H Leadership Center in
Summerton, SC where we teach our Teaching KATE program (natural
resources), and some programming at Camp Hannon in Sunset, SC. We work
with students from 2nd to 8th grade and instruct in day and night
programming. The program runs for 3 days and 2 nights with each group. In
addition, we also facilitate team initiatives and games. There will be a
good amount of traveling between sites between the work dates of August –
December 2011. Pay Rate: $500-$550 bi-weekly with room and board provided.

Expedition Sewee Field Instructor. Location: Awendaw, SC (right outside of

resources and marine biology. We are hiring instructors to work at the
Sewee Coastal Retreat Center where we teach our Expedition Sewee program
(marine science). We work with students from 2nd to 8th grade and instruct

of Year Round Camping Director. The Camp Director is responsible for
directing the execution of all programs offered by Camp Hemlocks. This

The Melwood Recreation Center is a 108-acre facility about one hour south
of Washington, DC that operates four core programs: Camp Accomplish

The West Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church is seeking a
Director for Camp Otterbein, a United Methodist Camp and Retreat Center in

Overnight Camp Director Mandel Jewish Community Center Of Cleveland. The
Mandel Jewish Community Center has an exciting opportunity for a creative
and experienced individual to lead its vibrant, highly successful
overnight camp. One of the premier Jewish residential camps in the US,
Camp Wise is a 375 bed camp founded in 1907 and located 25 miles east of
Cleveland in a beautiful rural setting with updated facilities. The

* OYDP FIELD INSTRUCTOR – SOUTH CAROLINA
We are currently hiring an Outdoor Youth Development Program (OYDP) Field
Instructor. The position is located in Summerton, SC. The work dates are
August – December 2011. The Alternative School (OYDP) is a program, which
works with expelled or suspended students from the county school district.
The school runs on a regular school schedule with the students arriving by
bus in the mornings and picked up in the afternoon. Students stay
overnight every other week for field trips and short adventure trips as
well as multi-day adventure trips throughout the school year. We are
seeking one instructor to work with this program. The program has a staff
of 5-6 that work with 20-25 students. The program works both in and out of

ensure all campers have a successful camping experience. Rangers are

Girl Scouts of Gateway Council, Middleburg, FL. To assure the security,
maintenance, protection, improvement and proper use of buildings, grounds
and equipment of site. In consultation with the Director of Property,
develop and implement annual plan of work and budget. Bachelor’s degree or
equivalent experience. Must reside on-site in housing provided. Basic
knowledge of the following skills needed for the general operation and
repair of facilities: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, masonry
maintenance/operation of motorized vehicles and equipment, conservation
and land management. Commercial Pool Certification to operate public pools
or obtain within 90 days of hire. Physical strength and stamina are
essential, as the incumbent must perform manual labor in an outdoor
setting under all weather conditions. Be able to work independently in
carrying out council policies, plans, procedures and directives. Be able
