* SUMMER WILDERNESS TRIP LEADER – CALIFORNIA
Camp Stevens is seeking 2 Wilderness Trip Leaders. This is an opportunity
for an organized leader who enjoys working with people in a wilderness
setting to teach basic wilderness skills, and lead in a creative and
supportive atmosphere. Responsibilities: Scheduling, planning, leading,
and evaluation of 6 off-site trips, including backpacking in the Eastern
Sierras, rock climbing in Southern California, and rafting the Kern River.
Position runs June 1st – August 13th 2011. Requirements: College degree or
equivalent experience, 1-2 years wilderness trip leadership, experience
staffing and planning week long backpacking trips, WFR, CPR, CA Class B
license or willingness to obtain, clean driving record, ability to hike 10
miles a day carrying a 50 pound pack, ability to lead top rope climbing

PROGRAM INSTRUCTOR – NORTH CAROLINA
The Eastern 4-H Center, owned and operated by North Carolina State
University, is located near the Outer Banks of North Carolina. We are
seeking experienced 4 experienced challenge course and environmental
education instructors for March- June 2011, extended opportunities will be
available to successful employees. The Eastern 4-H Center is a year-round
Conference, Camping, and Education Center that hosts guests from all over
North Carolina. Instructors will teach from pre-developed curriculum that
is suited to our pocosin swamp and marsh environment. Ability to lead
birding and interpretive paddling expeditions is preferred, too.
Possession of current CPR/First Aid is preferred. Additional requirements
include positive attitude, professionalism, and love for sharing knowledge
with children. There are two position openings for Environmental Education

CSI FIELD INSTRUCTOR – SOUTH CAROLINA
Title: CSI Instructor. Location: Pickens, SC. As an instructor for the
Youth Learning Institute, you will serve as a professional role model for
“children” of all ages. You will work programs including C-CATS (Clemson’s
Challenge for Academically Talented Students), CSI (Clemson Student
Investigators), and miscellaneous rental groups. CSI combines a unique
opportunity to work in varied curriculums and educate children in forensic
sciences. We work with students from 4th to 8th grade and instruct in day
and night programming. In addition, we also facilitate team initiatives
and games. During their three-day, two-night stay, students perform hair
and fiber analyses, fingerprinting, document analysis, team initiatives

PROGRAM STAFF – NATURALIST – TENNESSEE
River Ridge is a small residential environmental education program located
on Watts Bar Lake, 1 hour west of Knoxville, TN. Our program consists of a
plethora of teambuilding, ecology, and recreational classes taught to
field groups of primarily 4th-8th grade students during the week. We are
looking for highly enthusiastic instructors with a passion for learning
and teaching in the natural environment, the ability to live and work with
staff as a team, well developed communication and leadership skills,

RANCH HAND – TEXAS
Camp For All is accepting applications for a Ranch Hand. Located near
Burton, Texas, Camp For All is a barrier free camp that works in close
collaboration with other non-profits to provide life changing experiences
for children and adults with challenging illnesses or special needs and
their families throughout the year. Reporting to the Equestrian
Supervisor, the Ranch Hand must have experience handling our animals which
include horses, cattle, llama, sheep, goats, pigs, donkeys and various
reptiles. You must also have a knowledge of animal feeding practices and
grooming and cleaning stalls, pens and pastures. This is a physically
demanding position so you must be able to lift 50 pounds and walk 5 miles
a day with rest breaks when necessary; a minimum of one year in camp

DAY CAMPS COORDINATOR – CALIFORNIA
