OUTDOOR PROGRAM EQUESTRIAN SPECIALIST – GEORGIA
Full Time Equestrian Director: Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta, Inc.

ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATOR – INDIANA
Environmental Educator, year round -half time position. Responsible for
planning and providing high quality nature discovery programming on a year
round basis. Lead outdoor education activities in summer with residential
summer campers and in non summer months to elementary students utilizing
100 acre camp as an outdoor lab for natural science exploration. Qualified
Candidates must have at least one year experience, ideally more, in
working with children as an environmental educator in an outdoor setting.

The AYF is seeking highly qualified candidates to fill the position of
Outdoor Education Program Staff. This position runs from 4/14/10 through
9/3/10. Resp. include group facilitation, a role on our summer camp
program team (DOE), and facilitation of our National High School
Leadership Conference. All staff must commit to 10 days of staff training,

Description, Title: Outdoor Education Instructor/Naturalist Work Dates:
March 1st – June 4th, 2010, Location: Pickens, SC. Description: The
Clemson Student Investigators program combines a unique opportunity to
work in varied curriculums and educate children in forensic sciences. We
teach our CSI program (forensic science) at our Pickens Educational Center
in Pickens, SC. We work with students from 4th to 8th grade and instruct
in day and night programming. In addition, we also facilitate team
initiatives and games. During their three-day, two-night stay, students
perform hair and fiber analyses, handwriting analysis, pH tests,
fingerprinting, document analysis, footprint and soil analyses, team
initiatives and career exploration. Principle Duties: Regularly teach at
least two science components in forensic science components of the core
curriculum- (training provided). Develop and teach at least one elective

* WILDLIFE EDUCATION INTERNS AND CAMP INTERNS – TEXAS
Education Interns: At Fossil Rim’s 1,700-acre facility, interns work with
camps and the public, presenting education programs and tours. Interns
care for outreach animals and learn to use them as animal ambassadors.
This wide variety of teaching / training provides an array of new skills /
experiences. At least 21 years of age and 2 years of college in a related
field. Available Spring/Summer and Fall. Camp Interns: Live onsite and are
a cross between camp counselors and outdoor educators. Primary
responsibilities include care giving and leadership of campers aged 7-16.
Camp interns stay with their camp group for the entire camp which range
from 1 to 4 days. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with children
and help enhance their camp experience. Must be at least 18 years of age
and have camp-related experience. Camp internships run from May-July or

to serve the outdoor education and recreation needs of schools and

reputation, the program is growing steadily. Our team of 13 Program staff
teach classes in water and land ecology, history, archery, climbing,
canoeing, challenge course, to over 22,000 per year and assist with camp
