Turn Summer Camp Videos into Marketing Gold with the book Get Seen by Steve Garfield

Summer camp directors take a lot of video. Some use a professional service like CampTV for their promotion videos but also have more candid videos that they shoot throughout the summer. Speaking at camp and recreation conferences around the country, I am frequently asked how summer camps can take advantage of the marketing opportunities online video can bring. The book is designed for a range of skill levels from the beginner who wants to get into online video but doesn’t even know where to start to the more advanced individual who wants to take video online. Unlink most technical books that only give you technical information, Steve’s book is filled with stories from his experiences as well as advice from the most successful online video creators. That makes for a well balanced read. It is a book you can go through for the rich stories and to also have on the shelf to look up technical questions like: different ways to share video online, compression settings, shooting live video, video blogging, lighting, mics, etc.
