Outdoor Education Program Staff (full-time, seasonal). The American Youth
Foundation’s Miniwanca is seeking highly qualified candidates to fill the
position of Outdoor Education Program Staff. This position runs
consecutively from April 6, 2009 through October 17, 2009.
Responsibilities include group facilitation for spring and fall school
programs, specialist or coordinator role on our summer camp program team
(DOE), facilitation of our National High School Leadership Conference, and
the completion of an individual project. All team members must commit to
10 days of staff training upon arrival, which will include facilitation
training, site orientation, ARC Lifeguard/FA/CPR certification and AYF
curriculum orientation. $200-$280/week, DOE. $150/wk for staff training.

Clara Barton Camp: year-round programs for children w/diabetes + their
families; 8-week residential camp for girls; 1-week family camp;
fall–spring weekend programs; rental facilities. RESPONSIBILITIES: Ongoing
maintenance, upkeep, custodial care of the grounds + 20 buildings on ~125
acres. Reports to S & F Director. REQUIREMENTS: 5 years general
maintenance experience; thorough working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing,
electrical, small engine repair, grounds-keeping, custodial care. Must be
able to work independently + supervise staff, contractors, volunteers.
Good communication skills + team player required! Prior experience in a

Ranger provides general maintenance & custodial services in accordance
with the Council’s policies & standards. Camp Ranger works closely with
camp directors, volunteers & council staff to ensure that troop, day &
resident campers have a successful camping experience. Primary
responsibilities include ongoing maintenance & development, safety &
security of Camp & maintenance on other Council owned sites. Incumbent
required to live onsite to provide 24 hour emergency coverage. Competitive
