OUTDOOR EDUCATION PROGRAM STAFF – MICHIGAN
Outdoor Education Program Staff (full-time, seasonal). The American Youth
Foundation’s Miniwanca is seeking highly qualified candidates to fill the
position of Outdoor Education Program Staff. This position runs
consecutively from April 6, 2009 through October 17, 2009.
Responsibilities include group facilitation for spring and fall school
programs, specialist or coordinator role on our summer camp program team
(DOE), facilitation of our National High School Leadership Conference, and
the completion of an individual project. All team members must commit to
10 days of staff training upon arrival, which will include facilitation
training, site orientation, ARC Lifeguard/FA/CPR certification and AYF
curriculum orientation. $200-$280/week, DOE. $150/wk for staff training.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in any youth-, outdoor-

* PROGRAM DIRECTOR – TEXAS
Lakeview Methodist Conference Center, a large camp and conference center
in East Texas, is seeking applicants for the position of Program Director.
Responsibilities include managing staff, equipment, schedules, and
programming for the challenge course, two pools, waterfront area, game
room and archery range. Will also be responsible for promoting programs
and maintaining campus wide sports equipment and general recreation areas.

CAMP PROGRAM MANAGER – CALIFORNIA
Hidden Villa Summer Camp works to bring youth together from different
racial and economic backgrounds and engage them in experiential education
on social and environmental justice while promoting multicultural
understanding. Summer camp serves 1100 day and residential campers each
