So often we have children at camp who need some additional help with socialization. The problem can be teaching your college and adult staff how to break down social skills at camp. I highly recommend a DVD by Sue Diamond. It provides parents, teachers, and specialists with activities, strategies, and games to help children develop social skills. She discussed the characteristics of turn taking, the magic of topic, the secrets of language processing, and much more!
